We provide personalized guidance regarding records, testing and assessments required to smoothly pass your exam or streamline any required deferral processes.
Recommended for those with complex medical histories, current deferrals/denials, or those with questions regarding the medical exam process.
We generally charge $150 for initial consultations.
Additional charges of $250/hour may be incurred for reviewing records, calling the FAA or other doctors, or writing letters in support of your application, prorated in 1/10th of an hour.

It is helpful to have your MedXpress Application confirmation number available when you book an appointment for a medical exam.
EKG with interpretation: $50; can be added to your appointment at the time of booking. These are only required for certain First Class certificates.
Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the FAA requires a new Computerized Color Vision Test for all initial applicants, as well as for certain other unusual situations. Once you have passed a color vision test, you never need to take one again. See the FAQ’s for a more detailed discussion. This test costs $50 and can be added to your appointment at the time of booking.
If necessary record review/submission for your application requires time beyond the allotted appointment time, then a rate of $250/hr (Prorated) will apply in addition to your exam fee.
Full Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, check, Zelle, Apple Pay, and venmo. Dr. Freitas and Dr. Brent ALso accept credit cardS ($5 processing fee).
Cancellation within 24 hours or No Shows may result in Fees up to Full payment being collected. Repeated No Shows may result in refusal of future services.
